It's Race Day!

This is a view from the village of Kitzbuehel on the big race day. The Hahnenkamm course is on the left, and the slalom course is on the right. Notice the big purple balloon, which is for the world's best chocolate - Milka. Also notice the black car floating in the corner. Audi set up the display because they are a major sponsor.

Whoosh!

Here is one of the racers as he heads into the finish. You can't tell by the picture, but he is going about 130 km/h (about 80 miles per hour).

The Cows (Or Something) Are Coming Home

These guys are walking in a line with enormous cowbells that are so loud it almost hurts your eyes. Kitzbuehel turns into one giant party during the race weekend and people bring all kinds of things to the event.

Geronimoooo!

Does the picture at right look like a guy jumping out of a tree into the arms of his friends below? That's because he is. All kinds of crazy things happen in Kitzbuehel during the race. Do you want to know what happened to the guy? Send us an E-Mail and we'll tell you.

Men's Downhill Entrance Ticket
