At The Acropolis

This is a picture of the Acropolis. The Ancient Greeks had highly advanced building techniques as evidenced by the industrial cranes found inside the structure - those guys were smart!

Acropolis' Open Air Theater

This is the open-air theater next to the Acropolis. It is still used for concerts and plays - it is a neat place.

Guards At The Tomb Of The Unknown

These are ceremonial guards at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Their movements were precise and incredibly synchronized. You can see Greek writing on the wall behind the guard.

Ancient Temple Ruins

These are ruins from an Ancient temple to Zeus. The picture was taken from the Acropolis with a zoom lens so it is hard to imagine the scale unless you look in the background at the size of cars in the parking lot.
